Langatun - Brandy 15y - Single Cask - 43% - 50cl

This brandy is a real trouvaille. It comes from a single barrel – and a very special one at that. It is the last barrel of brandy from the Langatun Distillery.

Until 15 years ago, Hans Baumberger distilled a little brandy as well as whisky. This will still be known to our «old» fans under the name «Langatun Golden Hill». However, this was removed from the range in 2015 and is no longer produced.

However, a single barrel remained in our barrel warehouse – for 15 years now – and now the time has come: it is on the market and limited to 348 bottles.

Couleur: Mahogany

Nose: Pleasant, sweetish and intense with aromas of apricots, liquorice, sherry, sultanas, honey and a subtle woody spice

Palate: Very soft on the palate with intense flavours of grapes, light bitter notes from the wood, caramel, hazelnut and wine

Finish: Medium-long-last- ing, rather dry with flavours of nuts, old sherry, dried fruit and wood
