Langatun - Cruz de Alba Cask Finish - Single Malt Whisky - 49.12% - 50cl

The Langatun Cruz de Alba Cask Finish is a bottling in our Cask Finish series.

The single malt was first allowed to rest for over 5 years in a Swiss Chardonnay cask. This barrique on French oak gives the whisky a delicate white wine accent with spicy wood notes. It is then transferred to an American white oak barrel with the number #325, where it is allowed to absorb the flavours of the Cruz de Alba red wine from the Ribera del Duero in Spain for two years. This red wine released its flavours into the barrel over a period of 12 months.

This bottling is limited to 535 bottles.

Aroma: Spicy and complex with aromas of white sultanas, fresh wood, malt, earth and wild berries

Taste: Sweet and intense with flavours of ripe pears, crisp apples, candy, caramel, vanil- la, red wine and figs

Finish: Long-lasting and rather dry with flavours of camomile tea, sultanas, wood, tannins and red wine

Each bottle is sold in a wooden box.
